MacGregor’s at the Whisky Vaults in Oban
For the first time in our history, the Hebridean Whisky Trail is coming to the mainland en masse.
We’re bringing the salt-spray, the stories, island hospitality and our Hebridean spirits to the mainland for a one-day takeover of the Whisky Vaults in Oban.
Whether you’re a long-time friend of the Hebrides or a curious soul looking for your next discovery, we’d love for you to join us.

Meet the Makers
Wander the stalls and chat with the people who live and breathe island whisky. Indulge your curiousity, hear the local lore, and chart your own path through our collective of distilleries.
Individual Guided Tastings
Your ticket includes 6 complimentary samples of our Hebridean spirits. These aren’t just pours; they are invitations to explore. Our team will guide you through the character and craft of each dram.
Music and Whisky
Throughout the afternoon, Bruce MacGregor and bar manager Chris Anton will be hosting intimate music and whisky tasting sessions.
Hebridean Cocktails
MacGregor’s will be serving specially curated Hebridean Cocktails throughout the afternoon.
Street Food
Fresh food will be available to purchase on-site to keep you fuelled for your adventure.
We’ll have a selection of bottles and exclusive merchandise available to purchase directly from the Hebridean Whisky Trail members.
Although the Hebridean Whisky Show ends at 5pm, your whisky adventure doesn’t have to end so early.
MacGregor’s will be hosting an evening whisky dinner, and the famed MacGregor’s Bar traditional music will be on in the evening.

TICKETS
Entrance to the event is free and open to all. To receive your complimentary samples, a ticket/wristband must be purchased. Ages 18 and over, ID’s will be checked if you appear under 25.
The Discovery Pass

Unlimited access to the exhibitors and 6 free samples (wristband provided on arrival with ticket). Also available on the day.
The Explorer’s Bundle

Everything in the Discovery Pass, plus the inaugural Hebridean Whisky Show 2026 branded Glencairn glass and lanyard. Limited quantities available.

We’ll have a photographer and videographer wandering the Vaults to capture the spirit of our first mainland takeover. These images may be used to share the story of the Trail on our website and social media. If you’re a bit camera-shy and would rather not be featured, please just tap our photographer on the shoulder or let one of the team know on the day.
