Calmac offers several ferries to Islay: Kennacraig to Port Askaig Kennacraig to Port Ellen Oban to Port Askaig via Colonsay
The Argyll and Bute Council offers a year-round passenger and car ferry service from Port Askaig, Islay to Jura. It’s a quick journey across the water and back. Tickets can be purchased at the port.
Jura is the ideal location for cycling and walking, and the most popular destination for hillwalking is the The Paps of Jura. Three rugged mountains which (once you reach the top) provide panoramic views to our neighbouring islands as well as the mainland.
