An adventurous drive along winding single track roads with views of the Cuillin Mountains, a small, white sandy beach castle ruins. To take this circular route from Torabhaig Distillery, turn left on the A851. Follow this road about 5.5 miles to Kilbeg, turn right towards Tarskavaig. Upon reaching the village, it is possible to follow the single track roads towards the beach and walk down the path. Be aware this is an active farming region and livestock may be on the beach. Please remember to close all gates behind you and keep dogs on a lead. Continue down the road towards Tokavaig, parking off road near the bay. Follow the signed track to Dunscaith Castle. Please note the drawbridge has deteriorated and the interior is not safely accessible. Return to the main road and continue heading in the same direction. At Ord the road turns inland and crosses back where it ultimately rejoins the A851. About a mile to the right will return you to Torabhaig Distillery, or turn left to head towards Broadford.
